01/08/2009 Bitches, I'm Blowing Up Bridges (#008)
I didn't know it was possible for me to watch a movie involving a terrorism plot with one of the greatest production casts I've ever seen assembled, yet somehow missed why said terrorism was happening.
(And when I say greatest production casts, I mean animation by Makoto Uno and Takahiro Kishida; background art from Shuichi Hirata; layout (ok, I know whatever) from Satoshi Motherfuckin' Kon; mechanical design from Shoji Kawamori and Yutaka Izubuchi; character design by one of the greatest character designs ever (hint: it's AKEMI TAKADA (I know, she had nothing to do with the story and plot and stuff); music score from Kenji Kawai; Kazunori Ito's screenplay; and directed by Mamoru Oshii.
